Financial Policy

We ask that all patients read and sign our Financial Policy and Patient Information Form prior to seeing Dr. Landau. Payment in full is due at the time services are rendered unless a payment plan has been established. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, check, Zelle, bank ATM/debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover/Novus.

Insurance

For medically necessary charges, we will provide a walk-out receipt itemizing all professional and diagnostic services. You may submit this to your insurance carrier with your completed claim form. We may bill as a courtesy — please provide your insurance card at check-in and we will let you know whether we have a relationship with your carrier.

In cases where we are a preferred provider, we accept the allowed fee schedule where reimbursement applies. For all other plans, our customary fee schedule applies. In all cases, you are responsible for your deductible and co-payment.

Medicare

Vein Care Medical Center participates in Medicare and accepts assignment on medically necessary and approved procedures. We submit Medicare claims directly and receive payment to our practice. You are responsible for your annual deductible and co-pay. A Medicare Advance Notice will be presented for services likely not covered by Medicare — any claims not approved become your financial responsibility.

Financing

Vein Care Medical Center participates with CareCredit, a healthcare financing program that provides approved patients with a credit line for medical expenses. Zero-interest options are available for qualifying periods, and competitive interest rate plans are also offered. CareCredit payments go directly from CareCredit to our practice, and you receive monthly statements from CareCredit. Ask our team for details about applying.

Prescriptions

Our minimally invasive treatment approaches rarely require prescription medications. In most cases, over-the-counter (OTC) pain control medications are appropriate and sufficient for managing any post-treatment discomfort.

Parking

Los Angeles: The parking lot behind the building is available, though we do not validate. Street parking is also available on Wilshire Boulevard and surrounding streets. Please read all posted signs carefully.

Walnut: Complimentary parking is available in the shopping center’s open-air lot adjacent to our office.
